Boogie-Down Bronx duo Silent Funk (Rhinoceros Funk and Silent Someone) have dropped visuals for new single “Lard Yard.” Speaking on the joint Rhino Funk said the track “is a call to attention in a time of multilayered social and political distractions. In a time where everyone believes they have something to say Lard Yard reaffirms that indeed most don’t pack the competency to chime in!” The track also features the deft turntable work of DJ JS-1.

The track appears on the newly released EP Silent Funk 2 (A Funky Silence), which fully illustrates the duo's penchant for pairing boom-bap beats that are informed by unorthodox sources and subversive rhyme sonnets.

Silent Someone has laced tracks for such legends as Tame One (The Artifacts) , Sadat X , John Robinson (Scienz Of Life), Craig G and Breeze Brewin (The Juggaknots) to name a few. He also produced the majority of Rhinoceros Funk's 2016 album, An Aesthetic Act Of Aggression.
Rhinoceros Funk has fifteen albums to his name. In addition to emceeing, he also produces and has been a radio host for over twenty-five years (co-helming the Guerrilla Grooves Radio with Fred Ones).
